California Sea lions


California sea lions grow to 300 kg (660 lb) and 2.4 meters (8 ft) long.A sea lion's blubber helps them keep heat so they can stay warm . They live in the waters near California, British Columbia, Washington, and Oregon. They mostly eat seaweed, salmon anchovies and squid. Sea World and some other parks have sea lions and people can watch sea lions do tricks like balancing a ball on their nose. It is very fun to watch. The mom and dad sea lions get very aggressive when its breeding season and they are very careful with their babies.

Hammerhead shark


Hammerhead sharks grow up to 20 feet, and weigh up to 1000 pounds. They are carnivores so that means that they eat meat. Hammerhead sharks usually like eating stingrays. Stingrays bury themselves under the sand so it is hard for other animals to see them. They can detect slight movement of an animal moving. Their lifespan is around 25 years.
